Halloween is around the bend and I got interested in making some plush toys. I am a huge Tim Burton fan and love Jack and Sally from Nightmare before Christmas, so I got to work looking to see if I could come up with a plush. Here goes!!!
I got Jack just about finished and I'm now moving on to Sally. Who knows maybe Zero will show up!

How It All Started
All crochet maniacs want to know how and when a fellow "crazy" got started. For me it was a second grade teacher who insisted her whole class learn. There were two classrooms and we switched so all the little second graders could play with hooks and fiber. Some of us groaned and groveled and some of us -that would be me- fell in love.
Two years later I was able to spend some time with a grandmother across the country, she was delighted to find a little protege she could spoil with more fiber and technique. My memory doesn't tell what techniques she taught but I do remember all the hooks and yarns and even a carrying tote that stood up on its own to put all my goodies in. Did I feel special or what?
